Exercise Class: Move with Shelly - Seated

Join Parkinson Society BC's own neuro physiotherapist, Shelly Yu, in a five-week series of a seated exercise class. This class is suitable for those who would like a slower paced, yet high energy, exercise class.

All exercises will be completed in sitting. Classes will focus on various components of mobility, strength, and balance to improve overall day-to-day function. No equipment needed other than a chair to sit in.


Please note: Participation in the exercise program will be done at your own risk within your home. Please ensure you have the space needed to follow the exercises and that there are no obstacles or barriers in your way. The classes are meant for general information and usage only. They are not intended for and should not replace individualized medical advice and/or individualized assessments given to you by a healthcare professional. Please seek assessments/advice from an appropriate healthcare professional as needed.
