The speakers stresseds the use of visual, auditory, and mental cues to manage freezing of gait and movement hesitation. Anja presented her work on the Otago exercise program and fall risk assessments, as well as upcoming training initiatives for physiotherapists. She emphasized personalized care, evidence-based interventions, and the importance of community involvement. The webinar conveyed that with the right support and strategies, fall risk can be significantly reduced, enhancing independence and wellbeing.
